From the back cover: PAGAN MAGICK TRANSFORMED Nosce te Ipsum In Volume One we established or reestablished -- the original western system of the interior stars which had been superseded in the Victorian era by the eastern tantric laya yoga arrangement favored by Theosophists. Recalling that Solomon's muse was the Goddess Astarte, we applied Her and the rest of Her ancient Canaanite pantheon to the spheres of our straight-line chakra ladder. Now in volume two we will evolve this neo-mythical system into a Renaissance and Rosicrucian analog. The ancient Canaanite gods and goddesses will be replaced (or rather joined) by the angels and planetary spirits of western magick and the hermetic qabalah. This transformation is accomplished by Jesus Christ and his Lady Mary Magdalene following their sacred marriage in Tiphareth, which is allegorically and alchemically recounted in The Chemical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz. And replicated in a Rosicrucian yoga ritual using the hitherto secret Soul Travel Boat. All of this is substantiated by ancient documents and scripture. Jesus and Mary are the earthly representatives of Father El and Mother Asherat, the original supreme deities of ancient Canaan and Israel. Perhaps the most important revelation in this book is that Jesus' father-in-heaven is El, the original most high god of the Bible, not Jehovah. Using the latest biblical research Fraters Solomon and Thabion reveal that Jesus really was the King of the Jews and was in fact married to Mary Magdalene. Drawing upon the mysterious Naassene document they reveal how Jesus was the last of a series of pagan dying gods and that his casting out of Mary's demons was the purification of her chakras as also described in the allegorical Gnostic Christian Joseph and Aseneth. Their sacred marriage was fictionalized in the last of the Renaissance Rosicrucian documents The Chemical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreuz. Frater Thabion summarizes and interprets this ancient fantasy novel revealing that it was inspired by The Hypnerotomachia of Francesco Colonna and that the seven days of the wedding are in fact the seven houses of Christian Rosenkreuz's natal horoscope. Analyzing the medieval epic Parzival by Wolfram von Eschenbach, Thabion concludes that the Holy Grail was in fact a shewstone (scrying stone) that revealed the Holy Guardian Angels of those who were called to the Grail Castle. Persian and Harranian-Sabian sources are called upon to validate this revelation. It is also established that Parzival's half-brother, grandmother and original mentor were hermetic Sabians, who could be called Saracens but not Muslims. The sorceress Cundrie also confirms our restored Chakra arrangement in a poem blessing Parzival when he finally becomes the Grail King. As a last restoration of forgotten hermetic influence Thabion presents an argument that the original version of The Sepher Yetzirah was probably written in Greek and later translated into Hebrew although he concedes that there may have been an ancient version on clay tablets in cuneiform. This book reveals the great secrets behind the western mysteries. It restores the true balance of male and female divinity in the holy family and in the human family. In the true Rosicrucian spirit it offers a healing formula of personal salvation. Tu es Deus et Dea Frater Thabion (Poke Runyon)

The Chemical Wedding 0f Christian Rosencreutz On Thursday February 9th, 2017 The Hermetic Hour with host Poke Runyon will present the second part of The Chemical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz by Valentin Andreae 1616, followed by an interpretation of the symbolism in relation to internal alchemy, the extended Middle Pillar chakra system and Valentinian Gnostic Christianity. We will describe the Sacred Marriage within the adept him/or/herself as an analog to the operations on the Sixth Day in the Tower of Olympus. We will refer to works by Jacob Boehme, The creation of the Magical Child, Johann Gichtel and the mysteries of the Spiral and the Lightning Flash. And the Homunculus of Paracelsus. This is the lost Key to Rosicrucian Sex Magick and the ultimate secret of the Hieros Gamos. Tune in and be enlightened. Last week we presented the first installment of The Chemical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz in which we developed our interpretation of the symbolic structure and inner meaning of the story. As you will recall we revealed and established that the Seven Days of the Wedding preparation and the alchemical operation involved in resurrecting the bride and bridegroom were based on the First Seven Houses of Christian Rosenkreutz's natal horoscope. This progression began with his reception of an invitation to the Royal Wedding. It continued with his journey to the Castle, his testing with the other guests. His exploration of the Wonders of the Castle, wherein he discovers the great celestial/terrestrial spherical vault which projects the constellation upon the earth. He and the other guests are then entertained by the strange drama of a princess kidnapped, ravished and tortured by an evil Moorish warlord. She is rescued by the son of her adopted father the good King (El or Jehovah if you insist and the prince must be Jesus). This is a further analog to Jesus and Mary Magdalene and their sacred marriage. After the drama we established Rosenkreutz's discovery of the secret tomb of Venus on the Fifth Day as also analogous to the relationship of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. We then recounted the execution of the castle's royal family and the false burial of their bodies which were secretly transported by boat to another castle (the Tower of Olympus) on an island where Rosenkreutz and his companions were transported the following day. All of these activities and the alchemical operation conducted in the Tower of Olympus are directed and supervised by a beautiful young maiden who is referred to as The Virgin. She reports directly to the king and queen, before and after their resurrections. Rosenkreutz and his fellow alchemists begin their work making planetary elixirs in the the basement of the seven storied tower. After they complete each task, they ascend to the next level. On the second floor the bodies are distilled. On the third level the congealed essence is contained in a golden sphere and sun-baked, in a circle of mirrors, until it becomes an egg. In the Fourth Chamber the Bird hatches from the egg, and our story continues: The King and Queen are regenerated as Homunculi and the wedding is prepared. Several analogies are obvious, first Christian Rosenkreutz is, like Gandalf in Lord of the Rings, a Christ figure. Venus is obviously Mary Magdalene, and the Alchemical Wedding which Rosenkreutz is unable to attend is The Sacred Marriage of Valentinian Gnostic Christianity which he is allowed to return home and perform internally. (It could also be performed externally with one's spouse or bound concubine to use Frank Herbert's appropriate phrase. A description of the rite can be found in the Gospel of Phillip. Jacob Boehme, Johann Gichtel, William Blake and Aleister Crowley have written on it. --The Hermetic Hour, blogtalkradio.com
